ONLINE – Parenting in a Using A Trauma and Attachment Informed Lens

Parenting can be hard. Between the stress that we are under and the stress and disrupted routines that our kids are experiencing, it can make for some big challenges! Just know that you are not alone.

Join Kamini Verma, LCSW-S, RPT-S, of the Samaritan Center to learn about supporting kids through these challenging times!

Learn how to connect and support your children and family by gaining a basic understanding of attachment patterns, stress/trauma responses, and parenting strategies. This workshop offers practical tools for anyone who works with children, to see the “whole child” in their care and help that child reach his highest potential.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR – Kamini Verma, LCSW-S, RPT-S

Kamini Verma, LCSW-S, RPT-S is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor. She completed the TBRI® Practitioner and Educator training in 2014 and for the past 10+ years has specialized in working with children and adolescents from the foster care system, residential care and in community settings. Kamini supports children, adolescents and their families on issues related to healing from trauma and abuse, creating home stability, adoption/foster care, attachment, ADHD, depression and anxiety.
