- Free
Learn about supporting young children to develop social-emotional skills in your classroom.

This class will take place online on Zoom. Please see the FAQ below for more information.

Join Kristin Miller, M.Ed, to learn how to support developing social-emotional skills in your classroom!

Do you work with young children and want to provide them the highest quality of care?

Providers will be equipped with practical, reliable, and engaging strategies to generate overall understanding for early childhood development during the formative years. Participants will be equipped with research-based knowledge, based on Maslow’s and Erikson’s psychological theories, to build understanding of what social and emotional growth is and looks like in early childhood and how children’s brains work to develop these skills. We will discuss high quality classroom environments which foster social and emotional development, teaching strategy practices that provide developmentally appropriate learning activities to support these skills, effective teacher-child interactions, and developmental milestones and screener tools to help learn how to accommodate all infant and toddler social and emotional needs in our classrooms.
