ONLINE – Teacher-Directed vs. Child-Directed Learning in Early Childhood

April 18, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

- Free
Learn about different instructional strategies in the early childhood classroom.

This class will take place online on Zoom. Please see the FAQ below for more information.

Join Kristin Miller, M.Ed, to learn about the stages of cognitive development in young children.

In this training, participants will identify and describe the components of teacher-directed learning vs. child-directed learning in the early childhood classroom. Through collaboration and case scenarios, trainees will be better equipped to recognize the differences between these two types of instructional strategies and incorporate activities that accommodate both styles. Learners will leave the training with resources and tools to implement these strategies with the children they teach!
