Join Kristin Miller, M.Ed, to learn about using transitions in early childhood.

In this workshop, attendees will identify strategies for transitions that do and don’t work in early childhood classrooms. We will review examples, scenarios, and visual representations of successful transitions being implemented in an early childhood setting. Attendees will learn and evaluate three types of transitions that get and retain the attention of their children. Participants will enjoy experiential learning, engaging in transition games, and collaborate in small groups to create a transition plan to use with their specific age groups. You’ll leave this session armed with helpful resources and transition-getter ideas to put in your toolbox of teaching strategies!
