NOTICE: The Georgetown Project is continuing to follow CDC protocol for mitigation of Covid-19, and aligning with Georgetown ISD with regards to our youth-serving, out-of-school-time programs.

The Georgetown Project continues to operate as an essential service with no reduction in hours at our home office on Old Airport Road (512-943-0074). Our NEST Empowerment Center staff have provided individual case management for students throughout the shut-down, and our Bridges to Growth Parent Center staff have been providing parenting, childcare provider and young children’s classes virtually. Our staff in both these programs resumed hours onsite at program locations last week. Like many of our out-of-school-time partners, we are waiting on summer camp/program guidelines from the Governor to finalize youth program summer schedules.

Kid City is a half-day summer nutrition and enrichment program for GISD students (completed Kindergarten – 5th grade this year) who qualify for free or reduced lunch program, to be held at Purl Elementary this year.  Click here for more information.
